  6. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before 
  7. using this software.  Unless you have a different license agreement 
  8. signed by MediaTech, Inc. for the use of this software, your use of 
  9. this software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and 
  10. warranty.

  12. Fourteen (14) Day Evaluation and Registration

  14. This is NOT free software.  You are hereby licensed to use <Live Markup>PRO
  15. for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 14 (fourteen) days.

  17. If you use this software after the 14 day evaluation period a 
  18. registration fee required. Read the Help file under Register.

  20. Unregistered use of <Live Markup> after the 14-day evaluation 
  21. period is in violation of U.S. and International Copyright Laws.

  23. Registered Version

  25. One registered copy of <Live Markup> may either be used by a 
  26. single person who uses the software personally on one or more 
  27. computers, or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously 
  28. by multiple people, but not both.

  30. You may access the registered version of <Live Markup> through a 
  31. network,provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  32. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  33. through the network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations
  34. will access <Live Markup> on the network, each workstation must 
  35. have its own <Live Markup> license, regardless of whether they use 
  36. <Live Markup> at different times or concurrently.

  38. Governing Law

  40. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, 
  41. U.S.A.

  43. Disclaimer of Warranty

  45. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND 
  46. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY 
  47. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

  49. In particular,there is no warranty for virus scanning. <Live 
  50. Markup>PRO does not scan for viruses. Because of the various 
  51. hardware and software environments into which <Live Markup>PRO 
  52. may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS 
  53. OFFERED.

  55. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  56. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  57. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  58. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  59. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
